A Florida Toy Making Time Capsule
- Orlando Wooden Toys — Until the year 2022, the Orlando Wooden Toys brand conceived classic concept toys with a modern minimal twist — handmade from North American hardwoods — Maple, Cherry and Walnut. From imaginative sea creature wooden baby rattles to wooden dinosaur rolling toys for your toddler — Orlando brought from concept to creation a trendy selection of hardwood treasures.
- Imaginations Unbound — Until the year 2022, Imaginations Unbound advocated for a tech-free childhood from Asbury Lake, FL. With unusual dark mahogany building blocks, Imaginations Unbound unleashed children’s creativity through open-ended play.
- Puzzles N Toys N Wood — Before closing shop around 2022, the Puzzles N Toys N Wood made classic wooden folk toys & puzzles with some surprising finds in the mix. Each toy was made to order — with the toy maker’s signature feel of vintage nostalgia.
- Zippel’s Toys — Until around 2022, some of Florida’s most famed classic wooden toys were made in a home workshop by a husband and wife who’ve been married over 65 years. An all-American love story, each toy made with love!
- An Apple And A Tree — Until the year 2021, An Apple And A Tree was a mommy and baby Florida family business with all-natural Waldorf-inspired wooden blocks & figurines — as sweet as ice cream, honey, and tropical fruit.
- Rainy Day Rainbow Shop — Until the year 2021, this Orlando, FL toy maker brought some color into an otherwise dreary day. After the rain, when the clouds clear, a beautiful rainbow awaits! Rainy Day Rainbow Shop took simple wooden spools, pegs, and rounds — hand-dyeing them with whimsical colors in soft rainbow hues.
